Care instructions
Care of Wooden Parts
Dust the wooden parts with a soft, clean and dry cloth. In the case of more extensive foulness, use a soft cleaning detergent /e.g. DIAVA, Colormat, etc. / specially designed for different wooden parts of furniture. Strictly follow the label usage instructions written on the purchased detergent. Do not use any powder or liquid detergents, it might damage or scratch the wooden finish. Avoid using wet cloth. Use soft and a bit damp cloth for cleaning. In case of extensive foulness, use damp soapy cloth and wipe dry after. Do not use any diluents or chemical detergents. Changes of texture, minor color deviations and natural growth defects on wooden parts are not defects; on the contrary, they show the genuine nature of the wood. Each wood absorbs finish /stain, lacquer, color, etc. / differently, this might cause color deviations. Do not expose furniture to water, excessive heat and direct sunlight. Direct sunlight causes colors to change.
Connected parts
All products are made of several parts, which are assembled together by screws or bolts. While used, they are constantly under pressure. Therefore all screws and bolts should be driven regularly. Regular checks and tightening will result in extended life and the overall durability of the furniture.
Rocking of sitting furniture
Rocking of sitting furniture is usually caused by floor roughness. In this case use felt glides. Rocking of sitting furniture not exceeding 2 mm is not considered as a defect, it will adjust by sitting on it.
Care of metal furniture parts
Clean chromed metal parts of furniture with special detergents for chromed products; occasionally polish with oil and wipe dry. All parts with powder coating finish should be cleaned with soft cloth and can be polished with soft oil. Dry immediately after cleaning and shine with soft cloth. In the case of more extensive foulness use a cleaning detergent for metal /e.g.: AKTIVIT Shine –Bachrem, or DIAVA, Silicone oil/. Strictly follow the label usage instructions written on the purchased detergent.
Do not use for cleaning of metal parts: ACETON, synthetic or other diluents, detergents containing chlorine or other oxidant material, which do not have the protective oil film!
Product Upholstery – Furniture Fabrics, Suedine
Correct treatment and regular cleaning of upholstery material can extend its useful life. Remove dust with a fine brush or a vacuum cleaner. Clean with common detergents for glass /water + detergent, or Windex/. Use cotton cloth or paper towel to wipe the glass dry. During the glass cleaning is necessary safe care treatment, avoid its damage.
Garden furniture
Outdoor furniture requires minimum treatment and maintenance. Use warm water and common soap detergents to remove normal foulness/dirt. In order to ensure longevity of the outdoor furniture, it is necessary to perform its surface treatment and subsequent regular maintenance. We recommend using thin- to medium-layer glazing paint that penetrates deeply through the wood and preserves its natural appearance and structure. Strictly follow the label usage instructions written on the purchased paint.
We recommend protecting the furniture against long-term rain. After the season, clean and dry the furniture and store it covered with a blanket in a sheltered unheated place.
Note
Do not expose furniture to water/especially chrome parts/, excessive heat and direct sunlight. As a result of exposure to direct sunlight, the color shade of wooden parts, fabrics, as well as metal parts of the product changes. Sharp objects, like hard seams, rivets on trousers, pet claws etc. might damage wooden parts, upholstery as well as metal parts. In case of folding tables, a partial variation of color shade of the table top and inserted table flaps, which are located under the top or outside the table, may occur as a result of UV radiation and oxidizing reactions of the lacquer. Sitting furniture is designed for sitting in the interior and other use, like placing of unsuitable objects, climbing on, kneeling, rocking (except for rocking chairs), or the use in the exterior, might result in the damage of furniture with potential injuries. The furniture is designed for interiors with relative air humidity ranging from 25% to 65% at 18°C to 24°C. The relative humidity of the environment below 25 % and over 65% at normal room temperature has negative effects on the furniture and may result in shape distortion of wooden parts.
Please, make sure to observe the guidelines and recommendations enclosed in these instructions; the manufacturer does not take any responsibility for potential damage to the product resulting from unauthorized use and unprofessional handling of the furniture.
